Corners of our home, finished or not. We did not paint anything, the house was like this when we rented it. I tend to obsess with cushions and pillows when arriving somewhere, I find it makes a house feel cosy easily. I made the two you see in the middle pictures. The cats love to sleep on the couch in the first picture. Yes, the cats, you heard me :)

Hello! These have been taken in our garden -we have a garden! We have been living in our new house for a month and a half now, and there are still things to fix and arrange, but most of it is done. Lots of work make it hard to spend time to clean and tidy for now, but life is good nonetheless :)

I spent Monday in front of the computer designing our business cards. Fun thing to do, but exhausting too. Thankfully I have other creative missions to work on this week :)

I spent the week-end with LM at my parents' house, with the sun. J was giving a workshop at home. We got loads of poppy seeds from the little containers you see in the first picture, I will plant them in our garden soon. Flowers are amazing!

The second picture is basil. Have you ever tried this purple one? Delicious and beautiful.

As you can see, I am slowly coming back to this place. I can't help it. I have liked being away, but like it a lot back here too :)

A little pause in my recent purple collection for a furry hello, as we welcome a new member in our family. Meet Betelgeuse!

Linving in the country means we can have a cat, which is great news! Betelgeuse is 3 months old and had a tough start in life. But considering he made it until now, I believe he is a supercat.

We have had him with us for 10 days now, and life is fun with him around.

We spent the last week-end in Brussels and came back via Normandie, where we stopped in the mini village of Douville (my last name!) consisting of a church and 2-3 houses. I found a beautiful melancholy in the cemetery, and took many pictures of lovely quirky details, using my husband's small camera. Then tonight, when finally checking the pictures, I realise they all have too much purple, a defect I actually like.

Oh, hello there! I hope you had a lovely August. I have been busy dancing and moving in a house. We are so happy with our new life, I hope I will be able to show you soon what it looks like here. Lots of news to share with you anyway.
