Hey, some news on the flat department! The flat we had seen last week is not for us, our application has been rejected. Seriously, the situation in Paris is terrible, agencies and landlords want so much security it's almost impossible not to lie. But anyway, have been to Paris this week again, and finally have a positive answer for a lovely flat that matches almost all of our requirements. Yes! Still waiting for another answer, and will see if we have a choice between 2, or if we just go with this one, which is already great. Have a great day!

A big Congratulations! Finding the perfect apartment in Paris is no small thing. I'm sure you'll make your new space lovely.
ReplyDeleteWish my husband and little son and I were moving to Paris, too! I so want the little guy to learn to speak French; I teach him some here in the U.S., but of course immersion is the best way. I may be able to get an academic research grant that would make that possible next year. Fingers crossed...
