We left Fiday morning for Paris where we visited a flat: we had seen a few others on the web, but they were either already rented, or the estate agency renting it asked that you earn 4 times the amount of the rent (it's getting so ridiculous). So we only visited one... but it's the one! It's so beautiful and perfectly situated and quiet and -oh we just need it. Everything is just fine about it, except that the morning we visited it, the landlord's daughter told them she might want the flat! Argh! They gave her a week to make her decision so we are holding on until next week... We already see ourselves there, and have no other plan, so we really hope it's working.
We went to see Meek’s Cutoff on Friday evening, I loved it, dived into the amazing desertic landscapes and got thirsty like the characters looking for water. Then on Saturday, went around shopping. Loved BHV's green wall, found a lovely, lovely felt shop (Muskhane) and got this soft ball, went in another shop for some neon coral washi tape and found some amazing wooden dolls by Alexander Girard, fell in love with the feathered-head one. J was discreetly wearing flowers inside is shirt. We ate twice at Loving Hut, a sweet vegan place making delicious food. Now back to my parents' house, where LM stayed while we were out and about. How is/was your week-end?
