workshop (2)

And this is what I made. It is so inspiring to see all these textures and colours together, I would like to make something out of these experiments... will see.

  2. Really gorgeous! Are they all watercolor?
Flora, is there a specific kind of watercolor you would recommend? I bought a set by Schmincke on a trip to France, but sometimes wonder if I would get richer results with a better product.
    Any thoughts?

  3. Anna > Sorry this is late! I don't own great material but it's fine for now. However, I have heard and seen that small tubes and a large plate (or any flat support) is best as the colours get richer and you can really dip your brush into the paint, otherwise the little colours cubes (the one you generally get) are so tiny you have to fight to get a big brush full of paint! A great book I haven't read yet: Water Paper Paint, by Heather Smith Jones. I recommend!
