My birthday present arrived on a Monday morning in the form of my brother, his van + gardening tools. My brother is a gardener, and he stayed a few hours with us to make a lovely garden out of the chaos we found when we arrived last year.
We are now growing tomatoes, lettuce, rocket, radish, pepper and a bunch of aromatic plants. There are also some flowers here and there. Yep! We might not enjoy it very long as we are leaving at the end of August, but still, it feels good. And the best thing at the moment is our neighbour's honeysuckle which is invading our garden, you can smell it as soon as you step outside. Wish you could smell it too!

ReplyDeleteSuch a good present, pretty good brother too! I recently got given an avocado tree for my 21st and it's the greatest gift I have ever received. So exciting watching it grow. Just another 5 years until it fruits, haha!
