This is Halloween

Apples and red kuri squash soup make a perfect dinner. LM has had a high temperature for 2 days, it's the first time she is kind of ill. So she stays in the sling all day and doesn't move much, which is actually very relaxing for us, she is normally such an active girl. Bye bye October, nice meeting you :)

This is what we do with apples and pears, sometimes. My brother is 32 today. Ob-la-di-bla-da, brother!

Sometimes during nap time, I hear LM laughing out loud on her own. When the door is open and I can have a peek at her, she's standing in her bed facing the window, watching the light coming in.

Here is Lou Mé's room, I think we're done with this part of the house. More pictures tomorrow.

My in-laws have left and we have made a lot with them. We sold a big piece of furniture that was taking way too much room in our garage and feel relieved it's gone (and for a good price, which is nice!). J installed shelves a bit everywhere to arrange our storage situation, I put hems on our old curtains and finally installed them, etc. We haven't crossed out everything on our to-do list yet, but we have the motivation to get things done.

There are many little things to do which actually take a big amount of time in the end, and knowing this I always put them back. Then one day I get angry against all those things that should have changed a long time ago but didn't, and I do the work with so much energy I could spend days without sleeping. Well, that's life.

All of these make an excellent day. Now off to dinner with my in-laws, who are staying with us for a few days. Let's hope we can make all we have planned, namely house stuff. Have a lovely evening!

Today is a bright and sunny day and I'm working inside, drinking wild strawberry herbal tea and enjoying every minute of it. Working on calendars seems to have an effect on me, I feel like I can control my time much better now, weird. How is your day?

2011 calendar is ready!

Hello hello, my calendar is ready! My calendar #1, as I believe there will be one or maybe 2 more... It's available here in my shop. I used the same hand-written words and numbers than in the one I made last year, and made a new illustration for each month.

A nice little mushrooms print is also available now, and my illustrated date reminder is, again, available too.
