There is always a lot of great things inside and around my parents' winter garden. I wish I had my own. More pictures to come, and a picture riddle, if I may call it this way.

deep thinking

I am in a very strange mood these days where I am deeply thinking about this blog. I am wondering what I am doing here, why, how I am using this space, what I would like it to be, if I want it to stay the same, or if it should change a bit, how, etc. No answers yet. I need to make lists of what I want to clarify the situation. Packing boxes makes me want to pack the blog too and install it somewhere else for a fresh new start. I want my whole life to have a fresh new start actually. Ha!

Before things get clearer, I am acting randomly. I have reopened my Etsy shop on a whim. I am also making treasury lists which takes a huge amount of time! I feel like I don't know what I'm doing, I really hope I can sort things out very soon! Oh I'm sure I will, it's just an uncomfortable time :)

I have loved living in our flat for almost 2 years now, but I have hated that there is no light coming in. I have been fighting with my camera to capture the light when beeing inside but despite all the settings changes I have tried out, I got poor results. I really hope it will be better in our future house. Or I hope I will take time to learn how to use my camera properly :)

This little guy there is going to Massachussetts! Ten friends are waiting for him, I have a huge fan over there --hello C.!

My mother knew I liked my grand mother's fragrance so she brought back her small bottle and gave it to me. I have bought some violette sweets to go with :)

dreams

I'm just coming back from my parents house. These days I'm strongly dreaming about living in the US. Everytime and I'm in the process of settling down somewhere, I'm also thinking about the next step, the place I would like to go afterwards. I guess it makes the settling easier as it becomes a transition only, I might be someone who needs to move :)

A dear American friend told me a few weeks ago she is engaged and her wedding should be in Santa Fe (it feels so exotic for us!) in 2 years or so, and since then I have been thinking of the wonderful trip that would make every single day. The other day we draw a route from Santa Fe to San Francisco on google map, via Yellowstone and Portland, and I stared at it for an hour. I picture us in Scooby-doo's van --we have the references we can :) driving through amazing scenes. I have been to the US twice already, and it made a deep impact on me.

I am also dreaming about buying a Polaroid.

Unfortunately, no one is filling in the boxes while I'm dreaming :)

Before starting packing everything in boxes, I need to cross all the urgent items on my to-do list, which includes last 3 months accounting. In order to do the accounting I need to sort out all the papers and documents I tend to organise in a messy pile at the end of the desk or in other clever places (so clever I forget about them). So this will be my mission for tonight. Uh.

These are some of the original pieces from the past years I have just found. They are now all on sale in the shop. Isn't it nice to find something on sale from the very beginning?

Also, I had to wait until today to get a response to the interview I had 2 weeks ago, and the answer is that I will not be teaching in this art school next year. I am a bit disappointed but my philosophy in these circumstances is that it was not for me, and something more appropriate will just turn up, sooner or later. Now let's concentrate on the move :)

There are only 18 days left before we move, now, we might need to start packing things :) I am very happy as we agreed on covering the yellow in our bedroom with white. I hope I will be able to show you the process of installation and décoration of this house.
