Hello new coat! I arrived here with a linen coat, which was slightly too thin for the weather :) The other coats I had suffered from experiments I made on them and are not wearable anymore. So first I have decided to stop experiments on coats. And then, in the sea of dark grey, navy blue and black coats that seems to spread every winter in the stores, I found this bright red number which I love. The red is a bit more blue than on the picture, it's more a cherry red. I now need to change the buttons which I don't like so much (I consider this a minor change and therefore will allow myself doing so). I like the 'Sergent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' feel it has with them, though.
Also, here I am with the hat I crocheted for myself. This one felt way too big so I unmade it right after the post I made on it and crocheted a smaller one. Posts are great for that, it puts some distance between you and things and allows you to see them differently. However, J gave me another hat for Christmas which is just perfect in every way. I will have to show you sometime.

Oh how I love your coat! I have a red coat too, and I like standing out amidst all the darker ones most people wear.
ReplyDeleteAlso - I got another coat for Christmas and it has buttons like the ones you want to switch. I want to switch mine as well (they're almost too much.... and mine are pretty shiny). Whether I'll actually get around to switching them is the issue.... haha

ReplyDeleteJe dois die que je trouve somptueux ton nouveau manteau, et que je l'aime bien avec ces boutons (je trouve que ça fait dompteur) ! Tu nous montreras ceux que tu as mis à la place ?

Aussi, je n'ai pas encore pris le temps de te répondre, quant au prix de blog. Je pensais faire un billet rapidement pour poursuivre la chaine, et puis finalement pas.
J'ai vraiment été touchée, d'autant plus que j'aime énormément ce qui émane de toi, de ton blog - que par ce biais, tu fais réellement vraiment partie de ma vie (par exemple, quand je vois un vêtement "vieux rose" quelque part, je pense immédiatement à toi), et que je n'ai pas envie que ça cesse.
