Hello there, I am thinking of a new little project and would like to hear your thoughts about it. Here is what it's about: it's a membership-based project where you could get a signed and numbered print by me every month of the year. It could be an illustration or a photo, but they would be exclusive to this project (they would not be published on the blog or anywhere else before they have been received by the members, and they would no be sold anywhere else). There could be 2 or 3 different themes to choose from. Memberships would be available as 1-month, 3-months, 6-months, and 12-months. Every month your little collection grows. You know that you will find something form France in your mailbox, you just don't know what :)
Do you like this idea? Would you rather get only photos or only illustrations, or would you like both to be included? Do you like the fact that there would be a few themes to choose from? All thoughts welcome!
The card society has just turned 4. I really like mav's concept and would like to create my own version of a similar project, that's how I got inspired.

Such a beautiful idea. I think both photos and illustrations should work fine. And as far as I'm concearned, no special themes needed, cause all your work is great. Way to go.
ReplyDeleteI love subscription-based art, and think that this is a marvelous idea, especially if it were both photos and illustrations. I also love the idea of having a few different themes to choose from, so that people can tailor it to their tastes. If you go with an option like this though, I think that there should also be one that's a mix of all the themes, for people who just want to be surprised.

what a unique and fun idea! i personally would be more interested in the illustrations...and i like the idea of themes to choose from...perhaps the recipient could somehow have the choice to choose a theme, or be surprised...their choice...this sounds like so much fun...depending of price....of course!
