I have known these red and black insects forever. They are called gendarmes (policemen). I used to be mean with them (I was young!) but now I just admire their pattern.

We had a great week-end. Now there is some illustrations that need to be done, and I've been commissioned to do more -I hope Lou Mé will sleep a little more :)

I quickly made a little mobile with felt and little bells to put in Lou Mé's bed but she is just punching it while sleeping.

I also made the birth announcement that has been sent now: screenprinted in burgundy on sand recycled card, envelopes are either bright orange or fuchsia.

Today my friend from New Mexico is coming and we're off to my parents for a chestnut + apple juice dinner! Have a lovely week-end everyone :)

Today was me + Lou Mé's first day to the park. They planted many colourful dahlias, it made our walk very nice. She is sleeping with a sweet little duck she received from friends of ours. She received many lovely things, that's a good start in life :)

We are completely soft on her, but she is taking so much of our time, I wonder when I will finish the work I have started. I need to clone myself.

I just got myself some new clothes and shoes, it feels good. I was starting to feel like an unidentified walking creature, wearing pregnancy clothes without the belly anymore, as all the rest is too small now. These shoes bring some happiness to my feet, well deserved :)

I've just finished printing the birth announcements, while Lou Mé was making funny little noises in the sling.

Lou Mé arrived at the time of year when summer is softly but surely becoming fall. We spent yesterday afternoon and evening at my parents' house, such a nice moment. This little girl is sweet, calm and funny, we are so happy she is sharing her life with us!
