SALE!

I'm having a big clearance sale over at my shop, from today until 21st of September:
all gocco prints, animal alphabet prints, illustrations, original collages and original art cards are half price! And as usual, shipping is very cheap, and free for EU countries.

On the 21st September, all that will be left will be definately removed from the shop, to make room for new things later on.

New shop open!

I have set up a big cartel shop. I really like the freedom it allows but don't feel ready to leave my Etsy shop yet, so figured out I could have both. I filled this new little shop with photo prints sets to start with. I really liked pairing the images I posted everyday while I was on holiday (see the first pairs here) and thought I could just do it again.

Today I am doing a sort of garage sale -except it's not in front of our garage but in another little town nearby. It's fun to sell, and to look at the little treasures people sell sometimes too :)

I have started painting little things white. Big things will come later, maybe. It's a bit exhausting with an 8-month pregnant belly, so I alternate with crochet in the sofa. Life is good.

crochet

This is my first attempt to crochet. I find it a bit hard to keep an even tension, but like it a lot. I now want to try with a bigger tool and thicker yarn. It's fun to learn something new!

So these are the 2 blankets I finished today with some organic hemp and coton knit I bought yesterday. It's so soft! Then I got some ribbon I will use to attach a bumper to Lou Mé's bed. I found these cool fabrics in my mailbox. The little animals making music is another Kokka print I love. Haven't decided what to do with this half yard yet. Any idea?

Discovered Mogutakahashi thanks to Amy, who also posted an interview of Doinky Doodles back in March -she makes such cool creatures! Makes me long for Donna Wilson's quirkiness (see Rosie and Pierre).

This is what I have made: a changing mattress and a cushion cover. I'm ridiculously in love with these little rabbits, having a baby is just an excuse to make me happy with such things! Some organic sweatshirt knit is in the washing machine before I make small blankets out of it.

I have also designed our baby announcement, but will not show you before it's time :)

This week-end has been intense -worked all long. I need to rest a bit now but can't wait to start taking care of my never-ending to-do list.

Bits of Nancy.

I'm doing a workshop this week-end, and hope to be able to go on making things for Lou Mé next week. I have already made a changing pad/mattress, but there is a long list of things I want to paint white (I just feel like making my visual environment calm, right now).
