patterns and textures

I have been seeing the world through patterns, textures and colours lately. I found these beautiful and colourful ones by What What. This afternoon was very sunny and I took a long walk to rest from the computer. I hope the next days will be as sweet.

I have just discovered Lena Sjöberg and really like her drawing style, especially in the cards she's selling here.

shop update

I have updated the shop with a few things I have made a while ago, but I would love them to be somewhere on a wall instead of in the darkness of my little boxes. You can find gocco prints and original collages. I have also changed my Esty banner and avatars a few days ago, which is just nothing but it feel good.

Yesterday evening I fell in love with Bowerbirds which I discovered thanks to Julia who asked us to come and see them in the tiniest place I have ever been for a concert: we were only 25 or 30... And the music was so good! Listen to In Our Talons to have an idea. We then headed to a café and had a drink with people we met for the first time. A very nice evening! What did you do?

afternoon walk

I took a walk before going to my weekly aquarobics class. I'm having fun getting ready for the baby. Everything is going well so far, it's starting kicking quite strongly now --usually when I've been sitting (too) long in front of the computer... On Tuesday next week we'll know if it's a boy or a girl.

I am also looking for sweet fabrics to make things (don't know what yet) for him/her, and here are some of my favourites:
- snowflakes and rose retro dots at Fabricsupplies,
- red scissors cotton fabric and japanese blend with green macarons at Karaku,
- pink elephants at Chokichokifabric,
- japanese linen with brown polka dots at safe bet Cottonblue,
- blue japanese linen with polka dots at Matatabi,
- and I'm sad those cool blue drops by Michelle are sold out, I have been too slow!
- and nothing to do with it, but I love this knitted slug by Lullabylily.
