peaceful evening

Last week we got to buy cheap tickets for concerts that some people were unable to attend, and so we went to listen to Anne Queffélec (a French piano player) tonight, playing short pieces by Bach. For one hour I closed my eyes and relexed on the slow and peaceful music, it was just delightful.

Now I'm listening to Chet Baker (so warm and relaxing as well...) while preparing something special for the housewarming party we are having on Saturday! I guess I will not post before next week, so... have a nice week-end sweet people!

We started the day at la Cigale to celebrate my man's birthday. This brasserie is very old, and impressive as well: decorative details everywhere. Our breakfast was delicious.

quirkiness

I found these 2 while looking in old folders.

Yesterday we saw The Darjeeling Limited (have a look at the trailer), a movie full of nonsense, fun, melancholy, and quirkiness. Some slow motion moments were incredibly beautiful, thanks to amazing images but also perfect soundtrack (especially with the Kinks). Time stopped then... *sigh*

going to the park

I worked so much these past days I haven't been able to do anything else. I had to choose between sleeping and blogging. Today I went to the park to breathe some fresh air and met some cool birds like this ice-skating goose and this little duck with a funny feather helmet.
