Honeymoon (11)

(bigger pictures here)
After the desert we went back to Tunis, took a 24 hour boat to Genova, and then a train to Venice, where my cousin and her husband (an Italian) live. It was a short but great stay. She showed us the place where she trains on gondola almost everyday, and we walked in the cold but lively city.
This was the last stop before going back home, where I am now (husband being in London!). I am trying to get ready for the big move this week-end. I have also a lot of work and never know how to prioritize. There is so much to do!
I hope you are all going well, enjoying this beautiful Fall. Thank you for all your lovely comments, and have a great day!

Honeymoon (10)

Every morning they would bake fresh bread. And what bread! It's called sand bread, as it bakes in the ashes in the sand. Amazing process, and such a good bread! It's just made out of wheat flour, water and a bit of salt. We would eat it with fig jam and olive oil, and a warm and sweet mint tea. Delicious breakfast.
It is amazing how our guides were aware of everything around them, they know how to cook a great meal with nothing. They have a perfect knowledge and use of the elements (fire, water, wind, sand), I learned a lot over these 5 magnificent days.
Next is Venice.
We signed the contract for our flat today, yeepee! We are very happy and have many things to deal with now, to settle down. I hope your day was good, have a lovely evening everyone!

I decided to taste Fall for real and just had a walk in the garden. The light was wonderful. Seeing all these lines and colours and taking all these pictures (more
