I spent a lovely day in Nantes, the weather was the best: sunny and mild with a soft breeze. Nantes is a city where I have never lived but I have always known. I used to spend days there with my highschool lovers and this romantic feel still exists. I can't wait to settle down around here and continue discovering this city -with my lifetime lover now!
I am now going to enjoy a great week-end with my dear friend! yeepee! Have a good one too!

dusk

I just went for a short walk outside to try my new hiking shoes.
Also, life is exciting. I feel connected with myself these days and it's good.

it has been raining

My best friend is coming over on Friday and I'm very very happy.
Before lunch today, my dad spent more than a minute in the kitchen where I was, with my mum and brother, asking about me, if I was in the house etc. but without seeing me (although he has a good eyesight). I liked this feeling of being invisible for this short time, it was as if I had some magical power or anything.
Thank you for your nice comments, I appreciate your support! Have a lovely evening.

stay still

Today will be filled with work, and maybe some stress too. I hope not too much. Sometimes I just hope that if I don't move and stop breathing things will just sort out by themselves.
Sandra's and Famapa's collaboration how we say hello is very exciting!

time

The time here is different. It's a bit like the Looking-Glass House (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland) where everything is very fast and very slow at the same time.
Today was about finding and getting some equipment for the desert and booking a hotel in Tunis.
The pink flower is the one I had in my hair on my wedding day. Have a lovely week-end!

my house

I love my house. I call it mine although I'm only here temporarily, but as I have spent my whole childhood here I consider it mine. I like all the old damaged details, the walls and the patterns (a few more, a white cat and lots of flowers here).
It's getting chilly here, and although I long for sweaters and scarves I will soon have to deal with strong sunglasses, sun hats and light clothes to get ready for Sahara! Can't wait to see it.
Before I go, have a look at these dogs by Lisen Adbåge and these great illustrations by Emma Adbåge (I guess they are sisters, maybe twins?). I just love their fresh and colourful work. Have a lovely evening!

fall!
I am finally in France! It took me a few days to settle down, I had so many things to deal with. All my things are in boxes and it's sometimes a hassle to look for one. I wish I had detailed each box contents somewhere. But I am slowly getting organised and am happy to be here anyway!
My parents' garden is still wonderful and that's where I like to wander (a few more pictures here). There are a lot of apples, I can't wait to bake delicious crumbles.
I am now going to have a look at all the blogs I have been neglecting a bit. Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate them. I hope you all have a nice evening!

one last thing
This week-end has been the best. My sister-in-law finally arrived on Friday and from then we only had good time. A walk in Hyde Park with squirrels and a lovely dinner with our friends on Friday, and some market shopping and the Thames Festival on Saturday. We danced on amazing music by Carlos and the Bandidos (I felt like I was in Arizona Dream) with 2 old guys dressed up as Elvis fans and some other people. There were so many things to see on that evening, and our great friends were there as well. It almost felt like all of this was organised for me. I will miss this bit of London, the one where people are playing with hay and dancing on the bridge, and where my friends are smiling.
Let's head to a new French life now! Thank you for all your comments, I hope you all have a great evening, I'll be either packing or on a boat!

We are having a nice sunny day. I went out and said hello to our neighbours (more pictures
