After a night train from Rome to Taormina, Sicily, we ended up on top of Mount Etna. This volcano is fantastic. It is very cold and windy up there, but from the second you take some soil in your hands you stop being cold: the soil is so hot! The views are amazing, and the colours... And also, there are ladybirds everywhere (everywhere!), but we don't know why.
NB: the posts on my honeymoon do not fully respect each day, they are more or less organised in sequences.

ah oui, les coccinelles de l'Etna : ça m'a marqué ça ! Au moins autant que le grondement du volcan au sommet (non, ce n'était pas un orage). Très très belle photo pour un beau voyage ! A bientôt !

ReplyDeleteJe suis allée en Sicile cet été et c'était trés beau. Je n'ai pas fait l'etna mais Stromboli, pas mal non plus surtout que le temps était dégagé et nous avons pû voir de nombreuses coulées de lave. et Taormina c'était trés bien aussi, joli p'tit village!
